Arclarium Studio is a small boutique creative space based in Brooklyn, offering art classes for students of all ages and skill levels from diverse cultural backgrounds. Rooted in the belief that art is both a skill and a form of expression, we provide a welcoming environment where creativity, heritage, and personal storytelling come together. Inspired by global influences including young creators in Bangladesh who blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design we encourage students to honour their identity while exploring contemporary artistic practices.
Our services include drawing, painting, hand-sewing, mixed media, pattern making, writing, and portfolio review. Each class is a hands-on creative journey where students develop foundational skills, confidence, and their own artistic voice. Art also serves as a meaningful mental and emotional outlet, helping students express themselves in a healthy, supportive space. Drawing
Our drawing classes are designed for all ages and skill levels, whether students are picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to strengthen existing skills. The basics of drawing are taught through shading, proportions, perspectives, lines, compositions, and observations. It also helps improve focus, hand-eye coordination, patience, and creative thinking abilities. Students will be encouraged to communicate their ideas and emotions through drawings and develop their unique styles of drawing. Painting
Our watercolor classes are open to all ages and encourage students to explore color, movement, and creative expression through painting. Students learn watercolor techniques such as blending, layering, brush control, texture, composition, and color mixing while developing their understanding of light and mood. Watercolor painting can also provide a calming and mindful creative experience that encourages focus and relaxation. Hand-Sewing

Mixed Media
Our mixed media classes encourage students of all ages to experiment with materials, textures, and creative techniques in an open and imaginative environment. Our pattern making classes teach students of all ages the foundations of transforming creative ideas into structured designs for garments and textile projects. Students learn measuring, drafting, cutting, layout planning, and basic construction techniques while developing spatial reasoning and attention to de-tail. Pattern making encourages logical thinking, problem-solv-ing, and creativity by helping students understand how flat shapes become wearable forms. These classes are perfect for beginners interested in fashion, sewing, or design, as well as students looking to strengthen technical skills. Our portfolio review sessions are designed to support students preparing applications for high school art programs, specialized schools, and college admissions. Students receive guidance in selecting artwork, organizing projects, improving presentation, and strengthening the overall quality of their portfolio. We help students understand how to present their creative process, artistic growth, and personal style clearly and professionally. Portfolio reviews also help students build confidence, preparation skills, and creative direction for future opportunities.
